On November 24, 1962, the Serenissima Grand Lodge of the State of Mato Grosso was founded, with headquarters in Campo Grande, then a city in the interior of the state. After the division of the state, it remained in the capital to this day as the Serenissima GRAND MASONIC LODGE OF THE STATE OF MATO GROSSO DO SUL.
