Masonic paramasonic
Paramasonic organizations are organizations belonging to the Masonic family that develop programs, activities, or actions aimed at specific needs, whether social, youth-related, philanthropic, etc. They
originated especially in the second half of the 19th century in the United States of America, when Freemasonry became the social center of the American family, with groups, programs, and activities in various segments.
Currently, there are several paramasonic institutions focused on groups of boys and girls with Masonic kinship or sponsorship. They are also present in various segments or areas of need: initiatory or not, youth-related, women’s, study-based, philanthropic, social, or recreational.
